Inversely Proportional

When I opened the Windsong file, I was only intending to finish the artwork… I ended up erasing everything I’ve done and painting all of it again. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! D:

 

The background shown here was the one I drew in the first draft. I had to change back to it because the colors for the character started PMS-ing and it jeopardized its peaceful relationship with the background. Some people suggested that I just correct the colors in Photoshop but I didn’t for three reasons: 1.) I’m lazy 2.) It would probably do more damage than good. If I wanted to achieve a certain effect, I’d always edit everything during the painting process and not after. It helps keep everything look unified in the final version. 3.) I’m lazy.

 

I’ll upload the background I scrapped as a separate piece, though. It’d be a waste to just throw it away since it already looked acceptable enough by itself.

What is this, I don’t even…

 

My schedule got fucked thrice this term. And I’m already quite happy with with my current schedule! Why do you have to change the schedule for every damn subject huh, Registrar?! You make me sad. It’s really a good thing that my schedule’s quite flexible but seriously?! SIX FUCKING DAYS?! Why do you hate me so much?

 

In other news, I’ll be changing the layout soon although I’m not yet sure when. Probably sometime next month. I still have to make few adjustments to the layout. I’ll also try to finish Windsong next week but lol, whenever I look at it now, I don’t feel like finishing it anymore. It seems the measure of how I like the finished work is inversely proportional to the amount of time I worked on it, OTL. XD
