Aaaaaand DONE~ This is the Illustration for the Panagimpan 3.0′s new layout. I think this is the first time I posted a colored illustration without using any textures on it? I prefer this method since some of the textures I used before ruined the colors and this one gives me more control. ~_~

I’m going to post the layout version of this here once I’m done with the coding. Ah~ So many stuff to do~

Pistachio & Mint

In the end it’s green, OTL. I’ll probably use the purple/pink one later for another illustration. That means everything you people fussed over last weekend will not go to waste because ILU all! ~~~\o\

I still have a few adjustments to make such as adding stronger shadows, fixing Kazu’s face and placing the other background elements, though(staaaaars~). But to be honest, I’m really scared how this one will look as a web layout, I’m not very fond of the way this one turned out but we’ll see when I start working on the layout. I had the same feelings at first when I worked on wind-touched before, and I could remember that the only thing I liked in the illustration was their hair

…which is one of the things the I like about this illustration. That’s a good thing, yes? XD

Snooze mode

Hooraaayyy~ New stuff! Yuuhi’s lineart took an hour longer than Kazu’s. I’m willing to bet that it’s because of my love-hate relationship with drawing legs and fingers. I also tried drawing Kazuhiko with shorter hair because people often mistake him for a girl. It sucks. T^T

I guess he’ll just have to live it it, instead? I feel sorry for him but I can’t do anything about it. Pity.

I still don’t know which colors I’ll be using for the background but I’m thinking of making it a combination of blue + pink + violet. Hopefully, it’ll turn out as vibrant as the colors I have in my mind because the last time I tried to use this color combo, I ended up over-mixing the colors and ruining the whole picture.

You’re probably getting tired of this

I have three things to say about this picture:

1. Green is not my favorite color. No, seriously. And I’m not being sarcastic here.
2. This should’ve been finished a week ago but I’m being too nitpick-y with colors right now.
3. I’m having fun with the hair but it’s a pain in the ass to paint.

I’m going back to world-building next week since my schedule this term doesn’t allow me to slack off and do things I want. I’ll probably start by working on a wiki-like encyclopedia for all the WB stuff since I have a knack for losing important things. Do you guys know a wiki-like software I can use for this? I can probably use Mediawiki and host it on my own computer but I need something I can take with me when I go home on Fridays.

I’ll still be able to work on sketches since they don’t take too much of my time. One sketch I’m looking forward to is the Ragnarok one I’m dying to do since I thought of it. It’ll probably evolve to a colored illustration but who cares? I really hope I’ll be able to finish Windsong soon because I still have several unfinished ones and lol, it’s still counting. My productivity makes me weep sometimes. XD

Aside from illustrations, the web design part of this site will probably be active for the next three months. I’m taking up another web design class this term even though I’m not really required to take it anymore. It’s one of my favorite things so I don’t caaaaaaaaaaaare! /o/
